How well do you know your logos?

So I came across this logo quiz - it tests your ability to know the correct version of a well-known logo. I did pretty good - I just missed one (it was the Shell logo). See how you do - click here>

Stock photos that are really local

Photographer Steve Gibson has created Floridafoto.net offering stock images that are truly reflective of our area - the right plants, the right sunsets, the right beaches. Anyone buying stock knows how hard it is to find really local shots (like good beach shots without caribbean water). He even has some true summer stormy skies. Check [...]

Wow - now that’s a billboard!

We’ve heard about how they do it up bigger and better in Dubai than most anywhere, and apparently with billboards too. Look at this monster construction. It took 75 days to build and measures more than 1300 feet wide by 65 feet high. It promotes a development project called ‘The Lagoons’ and more than 250,000 [...]

The headlines and copy are fun and the pictures really give you the warm and fuzzy - you just want to go out and get one and catch your random [...]

Still the best Mother’s Day video ever

The first time I saw this video, I played it over a few times because it was so funny. My brother’s were just like this when they were young and it reminds me so much of their antics as kids and how much they picked on each other. This video, all in the name of [...]

Is there any better way to illustrate a blocked nose?

These ads that read “blocked nose?” from Saatchi & Saatchi in Italy for Otrivin nasal spray are a great idea with great implementation. Sure, I might like them because they have dogs in them, but they’re still great.

Hooray for ambient advertising.

I just love ambient advertising and wish more of it happened outside of metropolitan areas. Companies are often nervous about spending money on this type of activity, but it can really make a huge impact (like the IKEA furniture campaign that made headlines). I thought this program from Pepto Bismol was a great application of [...]
