Think we don’t benefit from money spent on space? Think again.
Sure, my husband works for the space program, so you might think I’m a little “tainted” when it comes to the political argument about whether or not our strained budget in this country should be supporting the space program. Mind you, the space program gets such a small part of the budget, but there are those out there at say it should be suspended.
Today, my husband sent me a link to a new website that shows all the many things that we enjoy, use or benefit from due to the work at NASA and the many contractors supporting the program. Not only is it well done from a graphics and usability perspective (that people in my line of work appreciate) but it is rich in information and eye-opening on the wealth of products, services, and technologies that touch us at home, work and well … just in life! Take a look - share it with someone - then tell your Congressman to keep NASA at work.
