I came across an interesting article today that argued the Internet has ultimately ruined, take a seat, EVERYTHING. Read the article here.
While the Internet has undoubtedly had its detrimental effects - particularly in communications and advertising industries like Lyons mentions - I daresay considering it the bane of all things Earthly is a tad melodramatic. I see the creation of the Internet and thus these repercussions as inevitable, and rather pointless to make the Internet the scapegoat for ‘things not being the way they were.’ Excuse my nihilism, considering I’m in the ad business and all, but how long could things really have persisted in the simple (and romanticized) way of Lyon’s pre-Web

Kids help provide a gushy quality that an organization, service, product or idea might not otherwise evoke, and thus overall these are cute in concept and in execution considering both that and the purpose of the ads being for the care and well-being of said cuties. Plus who can resist tiny plumber crack even if the logic of it within the ad series might be off?

Great ads for a canine training school. And I love the little things that ad that smidge of humor…the cat sneaking out of the image (and the concern on the face of the “base” pyramid dog), the pipsqueak among the shepherds clearly holding his own, the paws on the shoulders of another dog like a person would do it, and the two that are clearly not paying attention (except to each other). Nicely done. Okay, and yea, they get a spot here because they are dogs afterall.
